Garden Gundog Training sessions utilises positive training techniques. Training sessions are for students that have either;

(1) attended a foundation workshop already

or

(2) purchased the Garden Gundog Training: Foundation course .

These training sessions will occur monthly with each session covering different aspects of Gundog Training. Dates and /or times subject to change. You will have already used clicker or marker training to attend these sessions.

This in-person Garden Gundog Training session covers aspects of gundog training including but not limited to; focus and control, recall, whistle work, positioning, directions, retrieving, heel-work, quartering and progression. This is a 1-hour 15-minute session where you will work with your dog through content which may differ each session.

At each session different aspects will be covered and students will be pushed to their individual potential according to previous training.

Ideally you and your dog are familiar with marker / clicker training. It would be advantageous to be enrolled on the online or have trained with Katey before but not compulsory.

Any dog is welcome, this will be a useful course for any breed especially if you struggle to get your dog back. Your dog must be dog-to-dog friendly to attend.

Strictly limited to 5-dogs with only 1-handler per dog with sessions conducted outside following social distancing rules.
