Gundog Classes (clicker training)
GUNDOG TRAINING DETAILS
Gundog training is available to help with steadiness, retrieving, recall and swimming. Clicker training is used to utilise positive reinforcement during training.
Vaccinations: Your dog needs to be up to date with vaccinations
Age: We accept any age, it is a myth that an old dog can't learn new tricks
Equipment: You will most definitely need a clicker, a whistle, and some training dummies. You may also need some place boards. We recommend using Sporting Saint for equipment.
Number of dogs: Maximum of seven per session.
Duration: 1 hour
Cost: £15 per dog and handler
Recommended reading: Clicker Gundog, Helen Phillips.
Prerequisites: Invitation only after completing either training classes, or one to one training.
Frequency: Once per month on Saturday afternoons or evenings in summer, Sunday mornings during shooting season.

Session Details: Each dog will undertake a short assessment to establish the level of training in place.
Puppy classes help you achieve some basic training and socialisation.
Classes available for all levels of adult dogs from beginner to advanced.
Growly dog classes are for dogs that are mildly reactive to other dogs.
